Property Exit, a platform specialising in real estate investment and exit solutions, has officially launched in Egypt with the support of Gateway Financials, a consultancy firm specialising in feasibility studies, investment advisory and asset valuation.

The platform aims to provide buyers, investors and property owners with a more structured approach to evaluating real estate opportunities, assessing asset values and exploring exit options. It combines investment analysis, market research and financial advisory services to support informed property decisions.

Mohamed Abou Khadra has been appointed CEO of Property Exit, bringing more than 20 years of experience in technology, business development, payments and marketing.

The launch was announced at a press conference attended by Norhan El Tour, CEO of Gateway Financials; Abou Khadra; Mohamed Hafez, an engineering and urban development consultant; Hisham Kandil, chairman of MTS Integrated Solutions and board member of Akam Developments; and Hany Saber, board member of EBNY Developments.

Property Exit seeks to address information gaps between buyers and sellers by providing data-driven assessments of real estate assets and investment opportunities.

Its services are designed to help buyers compare properties in line with their financial objectives and enable owners to assess available options for managing or exiting their investments.

The platform distinguishes between a property’s market value and the financial viability of owning it, taking into account factors such as buying and selling timing, asset characteristics, demand, costs and outstanding financial obligations.

“Property Exit is entering the market at a time of significant activity in the real estate sector and growing attention to the challenges facing the industry,” Abou Khadra said.

He added that exiting a property investment is a natural part of an asset’s lifecycle and does not necessarily indicate financial distress or an unsuccessful investment.

“In many cases, an exit decision reflects the health of the real estate market and its ability to complete the investment cycle and maximise returns for investors,” he said.

Abou Khadra said the platform aims to expand the options available to investors seeking to liquidate their real estate holdings through informed decisions, accurate valuations and a better understanding of market conditions.

The available alternatives will depend on each property’s characteristics, contractual terms, outstanding financial commitments and the regulations governing the transaction, he added.

Property Exit’s launch is backed by Gateway Financials, which has been operating since 2019 and has worked with more than 3,000 real estate developers across 12 countries, according to Abou Khadra.

Norhan El Tour, CEO of Gateway Financials, said the partnership reflects the importance of applying research and analytical expertise to improve the assessment of real estate investment opportunities.

The collaboration aims to develop more structured valuation tools and help investors and property owners better understand an asset’s value, costs, potential returns and associated risks, El Tour added.

Gateway Financials also provides real estate technology products for developers, customers and property marketers, seeking to support a more integrated ecosystem for the sector in Egypt and the wider region.
