Two-time Academy Award winner Jessica Lange will receive the Vision Award at Sun Valley Film Festival, Deadline can announce.

The award, which will be presented by Deadline, recognizes her extraordinary contributions to film, television and theater, and the presentation will be in tandem with a conversation with Lange, giving the festival audience an opportunity to hear stories of her remarkable career first-hand.

Teddy Grennan, executive director and founder of the Sun Valley Film Festival said, “Jessica Lange is one of the truly extraordinary artists of our time. We’re thrilled to welcome her to Sun Valley to celebrate her remarkable career with the Vision Award, and give our audience the opportunity to hear her reflect on the craft and experiences behind it.”

The festival will also screen the Jonathan Kent-directed film Long Day’s Journey Into Night, which stars Lange as Mary Tyrone opposite Ed Harris as James Tyrone, alongside Ben Foster and Derek Carroll. David Lindsay-Abaire’s screenplay is an adaptation of the 1956 Eugene O’Neill play and this latest theatrical version sees Lange reprise the Broadway role that won her a Tony in 2016.
