A Lagos-based musical drama, Which Way, produced by Bold Pictures, will make its African premiere at the Africa International Film Festival on Tuesday, November 3.
The film, produced by Jumafor Ajogwu, will be screened at Filmhouse Cinemas, Landmark, Victoria Island, Lagos, at 8pm, with members of the cast expected to attend a question-and-answer session after the screening.
Directed by Jide Okeke, the film features Floyd Igbo, Chidinma Nebo, Mariam Kayode and Onome Akpotebu in lead roles, alongside Chimezie Imo, Stan Nze, Ijeoma Grace Agu, Yemi Blaq and Olayiwola Razaq.
Set against the backdrop of a troubled family, Which Way explores anger, domestic struggles and the emotional wounds that shape relationships.
Other cast members include Imo as Catcher, Nze as Emmanuel, Agu as Aunty Joy, Blaq as Papa Ladi and Razaq as Prophet.
According to the production team, one of the film’s distinctive features is its use of live singing during filming, requiring the actors to combine dramatic performances with musical delivery in emotionally demanding scenes.

Okeke said the casting process prioritised performers capable of delivering both acting and singing performances without relying on prerecorded vocals.
“We weren’t casting voices or faces. We were casting people who could carry a scene and a song at the same time, without a safety net,” he said.
“This cast gave everything. Some of what you will see and hear on screen happened once and will never happen the same way again.”
Written by Temi Mattu and Okeke, Which Way explores the emotions and conflicts that family members struggle to express, using music as a means of communicating what remains unspoken.
Okeke, who won Best Director at the Portugal Indie Film Festival this year, leads the production.
