A pedestrian has been taken to hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Newmarket.
York police were called to Davis Drive and Bathurst Street just after 6 p.m. for reports of a collision.
The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. The driver involved remained on the scene.
The intersection is currently closed to traffic and motorists should expect delays in the area.
