Off Campus is skating back to screens this April, Prime Video announced Thursday.
The popular college hockey romance series will officially return for season two on April 27, 2027. Shortly after season one premiered in May, Prime Video announced Stephen Kalyn‘s Dean Di Laurentis and Mika Abdalla‘s Allie Hayes would lead the next installment, which didn’t come as a big surprise to many viewers as the couple was a fan favorite in season one. Their relationship will serve as the driving force behind the new season. Season one leads, Belmont Camelli and Ella Bright, will continue to star in the series.
The new season will adapt the plot of Elle Kennedy’s third novel in the Off Campus series, The Score. The book series Off Campus, which begins with The Deal, follows a new-but-connected couple in each book. The show plans to keep that model. Season one dove headfirst into the age-old romantic trope of fake dating with music student Hannah Wells (Bright), who, in true hockey fashion, is often called Wellsy by her love interest, Garrett Graham (Cameli).
“I consider [episode six] a pilot episode or a soft launch for season two and what you’re going to expect,” Kalyn previously told The Hollywood Reporter. “I was so grateful to learn from Ella and Belmont and watch those two great phenomenal actors lead season one.”
Abdalla had similar sentiments, sharing her excitement for getting to work more closely with her co-star. “I truly love working with Stephen so much,” she previously told THR ahead of the announcement she and Kalyn would lead season two. “I’m excited that I get to do this with him because I trust him so much.”
Abdalla, Kalyn, Bright and Cameli are joined by Antonio Cipriano, Jalen Thomas Brooks and India Fowler as series regulars for Off Campus season two. Julia Sarah-Stone, Khobe Clarke, Miles Gutierrez-Riley and Philipa Soo are set to recur. Charlie Evans and Shay Rudolph will guest star.
Off Campus has become a hit for Prime Video. The series reached 36 million viewers worldwide over its first 12 days of release, according to figures shared by the Amazon-owned streamer. It comes in as Prime Video’s third largest series debut over that amount of time, behind The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power and Fallout.
Creator Louisa Levy serves as co-showrunner and executive producer alongside Gina Fattore. Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen and James Seidman executive produce and Annika Patton co-executive produces for Temple Hill. Leanna Billings of Billings Productions and Neal Flaherty also serve as executive producers.
