Livingyards partners with KONE’s regional agent for elevators, escalators

Livingyards has signed an agreement with United Elevators, the authorised Middle East agent of global elevator and escalator manufacturer KONE, to supply and install elevator and escalator systems across its real estate projects.

The company said the partnership would cover the supply and installation of the systems, with a focus on enhancing safety, reliability and building performance.

The agreement includes NOIR, Livingyards’ project on South 90th Street in New Cairo, with planned investments of around EGP 1.5bn. The project forms part of the company’s broader portfolio of residential, commercial, administrative, medical, entertainment and hospitality developments.

Ayman Marzouk, Chairperson of Livingyards and AM Group, said the company focuses on developing real estate projects that deliver value to customers and investors through effective planning, construction quality and cooperation with specialised service providers.

He added that partnerships with specialised companies enable Livingyards to benefit from advanced technical and technological expertise while enhancing project quality and operational efficiency in line with the requirements of Egypt’s real estate market.

Abdallah Lotfy, Managing Director of Livingyards, said modern real estate development extends beyond construction to encompass the technical and operational systems that influence building performance and users’ experiences.

He added that the company seeks to incorporate human-centred urban development into its projects by considering the needs of residents and visitors and ensuring integration across design, construction and operation.

Livingyards’ portfolio comprises six projects spanning residential, commercial, administrative, medical, entertainment and hospitality activities across the New Administrative Capital, East Cairo and West Cairo, with total investments exceeding EGP 30bn.

Established in 2018, Livingyards is the real estate arm of AM Group, which has more than 30 years of experience in the Egyptian and Middle Eastern markets. The group operates across several sectors, including food industries, import and export, real estate development and contracting, with a presence in the Gulf region, Europe, the United States and East Asia.
