“I thought I would use this momentous occasion in my career to dress like a rodent,” Harry Styles said Saturday night, explaining his costume for the second night of his traditional “Harryween” concerts.
The singer’s Halloween getup was just one of the highlights of the final night of his 30-show run at Madison Square Garden, which also featured a surprise appearance by New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson, a new cover added to the setlist, his fiancée Zoë Kravitz in attendance and an emotional goodbye from Styles, as fans filled the sold-out arena in an array of creative costumes.
For night two of Harryween, Styles dressed as “Pizza Rat,” wearing a full rat suit and bringing a pizza slice onstage as an accessory. The costume appeared to take inspiration from the viral 2015 “Pizza Rat” video, which showed a rat dragging a slice of pizza down the stairs of a New York City subway station. Styles fully committed to the look, even playing guitar with his rat-claw nails.
His bandmates also got in on the New York theme, dressing as city landmarks and icons, including the Statue of Liberty, Andy Warhol and Anna Wintour. The previous night’s Harryween concert saw Styles transform into Elvis Presley before changing into the outfit he wore for his 2010 The X Factor UK audition.
Concertgoers also embraced the Halloween spirit on Saturday, with The Hollywood Reporter spotting attendees dressed as Nikki from Curry Barker’s Obsession, painter Bob Ross, dancing lobsters and even Kravitz’s plastic takeout bag outfit with the words “have a nice day” — seemingly a nod to the bag in Styles’ “Aperture” music video.
Styles eventually had to make a costume change of his own, however, after finding the full rat suit too hot to perform in. He stayed on theme, swapping it for rat ears, a tail and an “I’m a rat” T-shirt.
The night’s biggest surprise came while Styles was in his second costume, when Brunson walked onstage to present the Grammy winner with a banner commemorating his record-breaking 30-show achievement.
“I just wanted to appear and congratulate you on your 30th night,” Brunson said. “A couple weeks ago, Harry was so kind to join me and my team on our banner night, and I thought I, on behalf of MSG and the Knicks, would do the same.”
Brunson then joked, “But this is my third show; he’s only been to one game, so he has some catching up to do.”
Musically, Styles delivered the familiar setlist that fans have come to know throughout his residency, opening with “Dance No More” and closing with “Aperture,” from his latest album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally. The show also featured fan favorites including “Satellite,” “Watermelon Sugar,” “As It Was” and “Sign of the Times.”
But he had one more surprise for the audience, adding a performance of Talking Heads’ 1977 classic “Psycho Killer” to the setlist.
Styles also made time for some of his comedic crowd interactions. During one exchange, he spotted a woman holding a sign that read that her crush just got engaged. He joked that she appeared to have missed her chance to confess her feelings, while also suggesting that perhaps the newly engaged couple might break up.
In a sweeter moment, Styles noticed a young boy holding a sign that read, “I skipped trick or treating for my first concert.” He encouraged him to do two things: have as good a time as possible and brush his teeth before going to bed.
As the night drew to a close, Styles thanked the audience for their support throughout the residency, acknowledging the many fans who had traveled from across the country and around the world to attend his shows. He also became emotional while delivering his final words to the crowd.
“You’ve been wonderful tonight. You’ve been wonderful every night. Thank you for showing up, for dressing up, for making us feel so loved and being so wonderful to us,” he said. “You’ve changed my life over and over again, and I get to remember every moment in here. I have loved it so much. Thank you for dancing with me. When I wrote this album, I wanted it to feel exactly like this.”
And even after the concert had technically ended, Styles wasn’t quite ready to leave. The singer remained onstage for roughly another 20 minutes, taking in his final moments at the Garden as he walked around the different sections of the stage, blew kisses to fans, ate pizza and shared a dance party with his band.
While his MSG residency has come to an end, Styles’ Together, Together tour is far from over. He will next head to Australia, with performances in Melbourne beginning Nov. 27 before wrapping up the 2026 run in Sydney in December.
Styles will return to North America in April 2027, kicking off the next leg in Phoenix before continuing across the U.S. and Canada. The tour will then head to Europe, concluding with three shows at London’s Wembley Stadium on Aug. 25, 27 and 28.
Until next time at MSG, Knicks in 5 and Styles in 30.
