The Paley Center for Media has locked in a star-studded lineup for its upcoming Paley Honors Fall Gala.
The event, taking place Dec. 3 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, has added Harrison Ford to its group of honorees, joining previously announced stars Greg Berlanti, Goldie Hawn and Melissa McCarthy. The annual event recognizes outstanding contributions to media while supporting Paley’s education programs and preservation of the Paley Archive, the world’s largest publicly accessible collection of television and radio programs featuring more than 160,000 titles.
“Harrison Ford’s landmark performances have brought some of entertainment’s most memorable characters to life and established him as a global icon whether playing action heroes or the everyman. His recent Emmy Award–nominated turn as Dr. Paul Rhoades on Shrinking further solidifies his legacy as one of world’s most beloved actors,” Maureen J. Reidy, president and CEO of The Paley Center for Media, said in a statement. “We are honored to celebrate his ongoing achievements with The Paley Honors Award.”
Ford has the fourth season of Shrinking coming soon, while Berlanti is behind upcoming series How to Survive Without Me, Scooby-Doo: Origins, Stillwater and Afterlife with Archie. Hawn is celebrating her new children’s book series The After School Kindness Crew and McCarthy is starring in new Netflix limited series The Murder of JonBenet Ramsey.
Each will receive the Paley Honors Award — the organization’s highest distinction, recognizing landmark contributions to and enduring impact on the entertainment industry — accompanied by special tributes celebrating their careers. More info on the evening, including how to get tickets, is available here.
