El Al announced plans to operate 63 weekly flights to the Americas under its summer schedule beginning in late March, with additional services to Miami and Los Angeles.

The airline said the schedule would offer approximately 35,000 seats a week between Israel and the Americas, describing it as its largest-ever summer operation in the region.

New York-area services will account for 36 weekly flights to John F. Kennedy International Airport and Newark Liberty International Airport, with up to seven flights on some days.

Miami will gain two weekly flights, bringing the total to nine, while Los Angeles will receive one additional flight for a total of nine. Boston will have four weekly services.

The schedule also includes three weekly direct flights to San Francisco and two to Buenos Aires, Argentina. Together, the services cover seven airports in six metropolitan areas.

El Al expansion aims to meet growing travel demand

El Al said the expansion was intended to meet growing business and leisure travel demand and strengthen connections with Jewish and Israeli communities across the Americas.

All flights covered by the announcement will offer economy, premium, and business classes, and the airline’s Dreamliner cabin experience, according to the company. El Al also highlighted onward connections through its partnership with Delta Air Lines.

“We continue to invest in the American market and introduce significant additions that make up the broadest summer schedule El Al has ever operated to the Americas,” said Shlomi Zafrani, the airline’s vice president of commerce and sales.

Zafrani said the expansion formed part of the company’s strategy to increase its operations and presence across the region.
