Over the years, Citi has stood alongside its clients through economic cycles and industry transformation, serving as a trusted bank as they grow and expand internationally.
The opening ceremony featured Edward Skyler, Citi’s Head of Enterprise Services and Public Affairs; Marc Luet, Citi’s Head of Japan, North Asia and Australia Cluster and Banking; and Christie Chang, Citi Country Officer for Taiwan and Chairperson of Citibank Taiwan Ltd.
Edward Skyler said: “We have been in Taiwan since 1964, and this new Client Center reflects the trust our clients have placed in us. It is an honor to help connect our Taiwanese clients to our global network, in Asia and increasingly beyond, and help them compete.”
Marc Luet added: “Taiwan is a strategically vital market for Citi, not only within Asia, but globally. As a highly advanced economy, a technology powerhouse, and a critical link in the global technology and manufacturing supply chain, Taiwan has been increasingly central to the global economy. The opening of our new Client Center marks an important milestone for Citi Taiwan and reaffirms our long-term commitment to supporting clients here, across Asia and around the world.”
Christie Chang said: “The opening of this Client Center represents more than the launch of a new space. It reflects Citi’s enduring commitment to serving clients in Taiwan and supporting their continued growth. The center embodies our client-first approach and our focus on creating value at every opportunity. With thoughtfully designed facilities and an elevated experience, it will provide a platform for closer engagement, meaningful dialogue and the development of innovative solutions.”
“This investment demonstrates the importance we place on helping businesses capture opportunities worldwide. Looking ahead, Citi will continue to draw on the strength of our global network, expertise, and capabilities to help turn our clients’ ambitions into results,” Chang said.
Taiwan is a key Asian economy with strong ties to international markets. Many of our clients operate, invest, manage supply chains and serve customers across multiple jurisdictions, creating a need for a financial partner that can connect them with cross-border resources, she said.
Citi’s new Client Center will serve as a strategic hub for dialogue and knowledge exchange, bringing global insights and opportunities to our Taiwan clients. By working together, we can help them remain connected to markets worldwide, anticipate emerging trends and position themselves for future growth, she said.
Citi also continues its long-standing investment in talent.
Christie Chang said: “The opening of our new Client Center marks an exciting chapter in Citi’s history in Taiwan. It demonstrates our ongoing focus on the local market, stronger relationships, and talent development. Exceptional talent is essential to delivering outstanding value, which is why we are committed to creating a workplace that encourages innovation, teamwork and excellence. Guided by our One Citi approach, we will bring together the full breadth of our network and capabilities to deliver comprehensive financial solutions and help businesses seize new possibilities.”
The new Client Center integrates local inspiration with Citi’s global outlook, creating a modern environment that combines aesthetics, cultural elements and functionality. The design is centered around three themes: Landscape Inspiration, Seascape Inspiration and Culture Inspiration.
The Client Center will serve as an important hub among Citi, its clients and business partners.
Through stronger connections and collaboration, Citi will help businesses explore opportunities, achieve milestones and navigate evolving trends with confidence. Its opening further highlights Citi’s presence in Taiwan and its dedication to supporting businesses as they expand beyond the market.
