Chris Harrison Dating Show ‘The Vow’ Unveils Trailer

Chris Harrison is back in the dating world and viewers are getting their first taste of his post-Bachelor endeavors.

Fox Nation has debuted the first trailer for The Vow, the Harrison-hosted dating show first revealed by Deadline earlier this year.

The show will see 30-year-old Jace Cates as its first eligible bachelor. He will embark on a relationship journey with ten women, each seeking lasting commitment and marriage. Through curated dates and real-world compatibility challenges, the show explores whether shared values, faith, communication, and long-term goals can build a relationship designed to last long after the cameras stop rolling, per the logline.

In the trailer, Cates affirms that he’s on the show to “find love”. “There’s going to be a girl that walks in and knocks you off your feet. I want to feel that,” he says.

The trailer walks two interesting lines; on one hand, one of the eligible bachelorettes says she wants to know Cates biblically. “I think Jace would be an amazing dad, put a baby in me, now, let’s stop the show,” she says.

On the other hand, Cates is shown praying, which is a departure from most dating shows. “Lord, if you can please be with us in this journey and allow our hearts to open as we pursue one of your greatest gifts,” he says.

The six-part series premieres on November 11.

The trailer comes a few weeks after Warner Bros. claimed that The Vow infringes on its copyright and trademarks for The Bachelor.

“I don’t see them going after the 50, 60, 70 other relationship dating shows that have come on in the time that I was there or since I left,” Harrison told USA Today. “There’s been one show that they’ve gone after. Is that a coincidence? You be the judge.”

The Vow is produced by Lionsgate Alternative Television. Harrison exec produces alongside Lauren Zima, Nicholas Caprio, Tom Huffman and Louis Caric, who serves as showrunner. Elan Gale is a consulting producer. Fox Entertainment Global will distribute internationally both as finished tape and as a format.
