Investigation Discovery is exploring the story of Andrew Tate for its latest documentary series.
The Skydance-owned cable network has ordered four-parter Andrew Tate: Toxic Empire.
It comes as Tate and his younger brother, Tristan Tate, were arrested in Miami in July and are currently fighting extradition to the UK, where they are facing multiple charges related to human trafficking and sexual assault.
The series will premiere with a two-hour premiere on November 25 with episodes rolling out over the subsequent three weeks.
It will track Andrew Tate’s rise as an influencer and examine the allegations of “predatory business endeavors that funded the global empire he created with his brother”.
The former kickboxer built a webcam pornography business before being the face of the manosphere. The series will feature interviews with former followers and associates as they “pull back the curtain on the inner workings behind the Tate brand, describing what some characterize as cult-like tactics used to recruit male followers into their orbit”.
It will explain the War Room, his international network for men, and their PhD (Pimping Hoes Degree) course that former participants allege taught men coercive methods to recruit women into webcamming in order to extract the majority of profits for themselves.
Andrew Tate: Toxic Empire is directed and produced by Julian P. Hobbs, Elli Hakami and Adrian Murray.
It marks the latest documentary about Tate following the likes of Channel 4’s I Am Andrew Tate and Andrew Tate: Icon or Toxic? A Faking It Special, which is streaming on HBO Max.
