Police have issued an amber alert, after an 11-year-old went missing in Hawera on Sunday afternoon.
D'Havland Phoebe Jade Laupama left her home on Koromiko Avenue in Hawera about 4pm on Sunday.
The young Mฤori girl was last seen wearing a charcoal-coloured short sleeve shirt with a guitar logo on the front and leopard print inside. She was also wearing light grey trackpants and black sneakers.
She has neurological disabilities including restless leg syndrome, which causes extreme fatigue in her legs.
Police say she is likely to lie down somewhere and fall asleep or hide.
Anyone with information should call police on 105.
