Doreion Hard (inset), 23, was fatally shot in the Wairarapa in March last year during a shootout in a Featherston supermarket carpark. He was subsequently taken to the Carterton New World carpark, where paramedics were unable to revive him.
Two days before Doreion Hard was shot dead in a supermarket carpark, he texted his friend asking for “amo” and seeking help to rob the men who were going to sell him drugs.
In return, Hard promised Dario Karaitiana a cut of the 13oz (369g) of cocaine he had agreed
