About a dozen beaches on Auckland’s Waitematā Harbour have been left contaminated with untreated wastewater after weekend storms overflowed near popular bathing spots.
Eight inner-city bays have been deemed unfit to enter, while a further four on Auckland’s North Shore carry the same warning.
