The Chief Press Secretary to Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State, Ibrahim Addra, has empowered no less than 750 vulnerable residents of the state with cash support.

Speaking at an event in the Doma Local Government Area of the state, on Monday, Addra said the gesture was aimed at supporting low-income earners to sustain their livelihoods and improve household income.

The beneficiaries, comprising women, widows, youths and women traders, each received between N10,000 and N20,000 to meet basic needs and boost small business capital.

Arewa PUNCH reports that the Governor’s CPS also disbursed N150,000 each to over 10 APC support groups.

“This is our community support initiative for the vulnerable and unveiling of the support group for Senator Ahmed Wadada and all APC candidates in the 2027 General elections”.

“This is my own little way of appreciating the people of my constituency for their support. This programme reflects our commitment to compassion, inclusion and improving the lives of those who need support in our society,” Addra added.

He urged the beneficiaries to use the cash support judiciously to expand their businesses and improve their living conditions.

The CPS also unveiled a support group for the APC governorship candidate in the state and called for sustained efforts, support to deliver him in the 2027 governorship election.

“We are thankful. I am here for only two reasons. First point is support for Wadada: I want to present our group, ‘Ibrahim Addra Support for Wadada’. This group aligns with all of you here because it is a group of Wadada lovers who want him to come to power as governor,” he said.

The governor’s aide further prevailed on citizens across board to vote President Bola Ahmed Tinubu during the forthcoming Presidential election, Senator Wadada for Governor and all the APC candidates vying for the different offices in the state.

Also speaking, Abdullahi Ogah, an APC chieftain in Doma LGA, congratulated Addra for the gesture, and described the programme a practical demonstration of the APC government’s commitment to inclusive growth and welfare of the people.

One of the beneficiaries, Halima Mohammed, said the support would make a significant difference in her business.

“I appreciate the CPS, Ibrahim Addra for the support. I also call on other well-to-do members of the society to emulate him by reaching out to people in need,” she said
