Stakeholders from the Abia North Senatorial District have vowed to deepen grassroots mobilisation for re-election of the Abia State Governor Alex Otti for a second term in office, pledging to deliver strong bloc votes for him and other Labour Party candidates in the 2027 general elections.

The stakeholders, led by the Convener of Dr. Alex Otti Frontliners, Franklin Ugochukwu, also resolved to sustain peaceful political engagement and deepen consultations with communities to consolidate support for the Otti-led administration.

Speaking after a sensitisation walk from Wisely Cathedral, Ngodo Isuochi, to Nkwoagu Roundabout in the Umunneochi Local Government Area headquarters, Ugochukwu said the exercise was designed to strengthen grassroots participation and demonstrate support for the governor’s re-election bid.

He said the mobilisation drive would also provide an opportunity for members and supporters to reaffirm their commitment to the administration as political activities ahead of the 2027 elections gather momentum.

Ugochukwu said, “Take this message to your various polling units, wards, families, friends, village meetings and clubs. Umunnochi will deliver bloc votes for His Excellency, Dr. Alex Otti, in the 2027 elections.

“We are encouraging every true son and daughter of Umunnochi to vote for the Labour Party all the way, from top to bottom. By voting for the governor and all those working with him, we believe Umunnochi will experience greater development and remarkable progress.”

The sensitisation walk ended at the Umunneochi Local Government Area headquarters, where Lady Aguocha Ngozi, a woman leader in Umunneochi, Nwoke Maduakolam and other participants reaffirmed their support for the Alex Otti-led administration and pledged to sustain mobilisation efforts ahead of the 2027 general elections.
