Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane has scored in 10 consecutive UEFA Champions League matches, moving within one game of Cristiano Ronaldo’s record of 11 successive scoring appearances.
The English striker scored from the spot to give Bayern the lead at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday before Declan Rice whipped an equaliser for the visiting London club, Arsenal.
According to UEFA on Wednesday, Kane achieved the feat with his goal against Arsenal on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, during Matchday Three of the 2026/27 Champions League league phase.
The England captain became the second player to score in 10 consecutive matches in the competition, joining Ronaldo, who holds the record with an 11-game scoring streak for Real Madrid across the 2017/18 campaign.
Kane had previously been level with former Manchester United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy and Poland international Robert Lewandowski, who each scored in nine consecutive Champions League matches.
Lewandowski achieved the feat twice while playing for Bayern Munich, during the 2019/20 and 2020/21 campaigns.
Ronaldo’s record run began with two goals in Real Madrid’s 4-1 victory over Juventus in the 2017 Champions League final.
