Firm develops digital tools to tackle business challenges

Technology solutions company IXPL says it is developing digital products and customised applications to help businesses address operational challenges, as it enters Nigeria’s technology market with a focus on practical solutions.

The company announced this at its media parley in Lagos over the weekend, where it unveiled IEXPLORE, a lifestyle discovery platform designed to help users find places, activities, and experiences while connecting businesses and service providers with potential customers.

Speaking at the event, Director of IXPL Limited, Owolabi Mustapha, said the company was established to develop technology that addresses everyday problems rather than pursue innovation without a clear purpose.

“IXPL Limited was founded on the understanding that technology should solve real problems, not simply exist for the sake of innovation. We recognised that individuals and businesses face everyday challenges that could be addressed through well-designed digital solutions,” he said.

Mustapha said the company planned to develop its own products while working with organisations to build applications tailored to their specific needs.

He added that IXPL aimed to expand its capacity to solve business challenges through customised technology and partnerships that support innovation and growth.

Business Lead at IXPL Limited, Arayi-Ayana Otseoriselaju, said the company’s approach involved understanding the problems businesses and their customers faced before developing technological solutions.

“Our biggest differentiator is our problem-first approach. Rather than starting with technology and looking for ways to use it, we start by understanding the problem, the people affected by it, and the outcome we want to achieve,” he said.

He added that the company would work with businesses and organisations to understand their requirements and develop solutions around their needs.

Director at IXPL Limited, Jegede Olayiwola, said the company intended to contribute to Nigeria’s digital ecosystem by developing products that improve everyday experiences and help businesses operate more effectively.

He said the company would measure the success of its products by their adoption, user feedback, engagement, and the value they created, rather than their launch alone.

“Building a product is only one part of the process; getting people to understand, trust, and consistently use it is equally important. A product is only successful when it creates enough value for people to want to use it,” Olayiwola said.

Unveiling IEXPLORE, Product Manager at IXPL Limited, Omolayo Ajibola, said the platform was designed to simplify the discovery of places, activities and experiences while providing businesses and service providers with opportunities to reach potential customers.

Ajibola said IEXPLORE was the first in a planned portfolio of products, adding that the company would continue to develop proprietary platforms alongside customised applications for businesses.

On product reliability, Software Developer at IXPL Limited, Francis-Akinolu Ayomide, said the company’s development process included requirements gathering, design, testing, feedback and continuous improvement.

He said data protection, privacy and security were important considerations in developing its digital solutions.
