Not a few chieftains of the All Progressives Congress in Bauchi State have assured the party faithful of the party’s undeniable electoral victory in the state.
Leading the pack of the chieftains was Musbahu Magayaki, who expressed confidence in the party’s chances of winning the Bauchi North Senatorial District seat, while also pledging to mobilise support for its candidate, Ibrahim Baba, popularly known as IMBA.
Similarly, the Bauchi State Secretary of the APC, Aminu Na’iya, expressed appreciation to party supporters in Giade and across the state for their commitment to promoting the party’s interests.
Also speaking, the APC Chairman in Shira Local Government Area, Kani Mai-Inji, urged residents and members across the state to rest assured of the party’s victory at the polls come the 2027 elections.
Earlier, Magayaki said Ibrahim Baba had introduced a new approach to political campaigning by presenting concrete development proposals rather than relying on political rhetoric and unfulfilled promises.
Speaking with Arewa PUNCH on Thursday, he said, “IMBA has shifted the paradigm by picking up one or two things from his already planned blueprint for Bauchi North, which he intends to implement when elected as the senator representing the district in the 11th National Assembly.”
He explained that some of the proposals had generated discussions among residents and political stakeholders in the district.
According to Magayaki, the proposals include the creation of additional local government areas in Bauchi North, upgrading the Federal College of Education, Jama’are, to a university of education, and establishing a federal polytechnic in Giade Local Government Area.
He also listed the re-establishment of a Federal College of Education in Gamawa, which he said would serve residents of Gamawa, Zaki and Sakwa, as well as neighbouring states such as Jigawa and Yobe.
Magayaki noted that the proposals demonstrated the candidate’s commitment to addressing the educational and developmental needs of the district.

He said, “Such educative and brain-cracking campaign commitments are what every responsible political candidate should learn to subscribe to, rather than name-calling, bullying opponents and engaging in political attacks.”
The APC chieftain urged political candidates to prioritise issue-based campaigns, warning that personal attacks and political intimidation could generate crises instead of addressing important political arguments.
He maintained that IMBA’s approach represented a positive shift in political campaigning, adding that the candidate’s development-oriented agenda aligned with democratic ideals.
Magayaki said the approach could help promote constructive political engagement and address the challenges confronting Bauchi North.
Aminu Na’iya, meanwhile, expressed deep appreciation to party supporters in Giade and across the state for their commitment to promoting the party’s ideals and goals, urging them to further translate these into votes at the polling stations.
Na’iya, who also assured party faithful to remain steadfast and committed to delivering their votes to APC, described IMBA as the right candidate for the senatorial seat, expressing confidence that he would fulfil the expectations of the electorate if elected.
He commended the supporters for their dedication to the party, urging them to sustain their efforts towards its success.
Kani Mai-Inji urged residents to support all the party’s candidates in the forthcoming elections.
Mai-Inji also commended Ibrahim Baba for his commitment and efforts towards strengthening the APC, describing his contributions as vital to the party’s success at all levels.
