The PSNI believes Carrie Mullane was killed shortly after arriving in Enniskillen

A further two people have been arrested on suspicion of the murder of Limerick woman Carrie Mullane, who has been missing since travelling to Co Fermanagh last month.

The PSNI believes the 39-year-old mother of four was killed shortly after arriving in Enniskillen and have been searching for her body since being made aware of her disappearance on 29 October.

Today, detectives investigating her disappearance arrested a woman aged in her 60s and a man aged in his 30s in Enniskillen on suspicion of murder.

Both remain in police custody at this time.

A 35-year-old man appeared in court yesterday charged with murder and preventing the lawful burial of a corpse.

Police divers have been searching for her body in an area of Upper Lough Erne just outside Enniskillen for a number of days.

Detective Superintendent Richard Thornton said the investigation into locating Ms Mullane is ongoing.

"Searches are continuing at a number of locations and detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Major Investigation Team continue to work closely with colleagues from An Garda Síochána in a bid to bring Carrie home," he said.

He appealed for anyone with information or CCTV, phone or dash-cam footage that could assist in the investigation to come forward/
