Staff at RTÉ have been evacuated following a security alert at the national broadcaster’s Montrose campus.
It’s understood there is a garda presence on site at Montrose, Donnybrook.
It is understood the threat was delivered in an email, although it is believed to be a hoax, but the entire building was evacuated as a precaution.
RTÉ Radio One’s programming dropped out mid air during Morning Ireland. The scheduled programme Today with David McCullagh, due to start at 9am, was replaced with music and a pre-recorded message.
Gardaí and RTÉ have been contacted for comment.
