Gardaí have said they have confirmed the identity of a man who was found dead at a recycling centre in Dublin.
The man's body was found at the Greyhound Recycling Centre in Clondalkin before 1am last Sunday.
The scene of the recycling centre was examined and a post-mortem was completed.
Gardaí said the man's family have been informed and a family liaison officer has been appointed.
They added that a file will now be prepared for the coroner.
Gardaí thanked the public and the media for their assistance in the investigation.
Greyhound Recycling last week said in a statement that it is "deeply saddened by the discovery of a body at our facility".
"We are cooperating fully with Ronanstown Garda Station and encourage anyone with information to come forward.
"Out of respect for the ongoing investigation, we will make no further comment," the statement added.
