A winning €4.7 million Lotto Jackpot ticket was sold in Drumshanbo, Co Leitrim, the National Lottery has said.
The winning Quick Pick ticket, worth €4,769,938 was purchased in Scollan's Gala on Church St, Drumshanbo on Wednesday, the day of the draw.
The winning numbers were 8, 11, 13, 17, 37, 45 and the bonus number was three.
This win in Leitrim brings to 37 the number of millionaires created through National Lottery games so far this year.
It also marks the second Lotto jackpot win since game changes were introduced in September, when the number of balls were reduced from 47 to 45.
That change reduced the odds of winning the Lotto Jackpot or top prize in each draw from one in 10.7 million to one in 8.1 million.
A shop in Cork sold the first winning ticket under the new changes last month.
National Lottery officials will visit Scollan’s Gala in Drumshanbo later this morning.
National Lottery spokesperson Darragh O'Dwyer said they were encouraging all Lotto players in Leitrim to check their tickets carefully.
"If you are holding the winning ticket, we advise you to sign the back of it, keep it somewhere safe and get in touch with our Prize Claims team," he said.
"We look forward to welcoming our newest millionaire to National Lottery HQ," he added.
Mr O’Dwyer said arrangements for the winner to collect their prize will be made after they contact the Prize Claims team.
