A child and an adult pedestrian have been struck by a vehicle in North York, police confirm.
Police say the two pedestrians were struck at the Willowdale Avenue and Elmwood Avenue intersection just after 3 p.m.
The child and adult were taken to a hospital by paramedics. The extent of the injuries remain unknown.
The childโs exact ages has not been revealed.
Police say the driver remained at the scene. Thereโs no word on possible charges at this point.
