Mediterranean$$
Share plates that transport you to the Med meets service that feels like home.
Powered by hospitality gun Sera Kerr (Hinchcliff House; Pilu at Freshwater) and chef Nathan Darling (Otto Ristorante; Sails), Terrigalâs newest wine bar is led by a couple of masters in their craft. Kerr exudes warmth while giving you fantastic wine recommendations from her tight list to pair with Darlingâs Mediterranean-tinged share plates. Friends perch at the bar for a quick baccala croquette, served piping hot with satisfying crunch and a spicy espelette mayonnaise.
You could happily hit the road after that and a glass of Georgian wine, but stick around for perfectly tenderised octopus in creamy ajo blanco with pops of preserved sunrise lime. The locals are here for it, too, whether theyâre tucked into a booth, gawking happily at their poached pear dessert drizzled with intense, velvety caramel sauce enriched with chocolate, or out on the footpath, laughing over the last of their house-made hazelnut gelato.
Good to know: Keep an eye on Que Seraâs Instagram for wine tasting dinners and BYO lunches.
