Každý čtvrtý pacient s depresí vyzkoušel čtyři a více antidepresiv. Vyplývá to ze studie výzkumné společnosti Ipsos, kterou představili psychiatři a výzkumníci v Centru duševní rehabilitace v Berouně. Pokud pacientům dvě a více běžných antidepresiv nezabírají, může se jednat o takzvanou farmakorezistentní depresi, která vyžaduje specifický typ léčby.
